We are in Ketchikan. Our first port. Steve and I are scheduled for a float plane and crab feast. Will fly over the Tongrass Forest and land at the George Inlet Lodge for all you can eat crab.
Our plans got somewhat changed. Due to bad weather, the float plane was cancelled. We were bussed to the lodge for lunch. The crab was delicious.
As we returned to the ship I looked up the hill past the yellow house and saw a couple of black bear. Very exciting even though they were not up close and personal.
