Last night we saw this ship sailing along side of us.

Well here we are in Icy Strait Point, Alaska. It is raining off and on, but we are getting nervous (I'm getting nervous) about the zip line excursion we have booked for today. We have never zip lined before so here goes nothing.

Not much to do in Icy Strait but it is a very pretty place with the Tongrass Forest in the background.

Steve and I met up with Glen and Tobey for this fun filled event. After watching the zip liners for a while we were transported up the mountain via bus for our turn. Holy cow what a drop. Needless to say I was very nervous. The other three were looking forward to the great adventure. I don't know which one of us was smarter. Well, it was our turn so the 4 of us were strapped in, the gates clanged open and we literally were pushed off the platform. OMG I knew I was going to die. I survived. Would I do this again?  Probably since I know what to expect now.   Check out how small our ship looks from the zip line platform. (Last picture)
